China Minmetals Corporation 2026-04-29

On April 29, Chen Dexin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Minmetals, held working talks with visiting Yao Lin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Mineral Resources Group. The two sides exchanged views in depth on further strengthening their cooperation. The talks were attended by Gao Gao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Board Director, and General Manager of China Mineral Resources Group, along with He Lianhui, member of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Accountant; from China Minmetals, Xu Jiqing, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager, and Duan Wenwu, member of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Accountant.

Chen Dexin expressed appreciation to China Mineral Resources Group for its continued support and assistance to China Minmetals and provided a brief on the company's business development. He noted that China Minmetals has remained steadfast in its core mission—"securing the supply and safety of national metal mineral resources"—while steadily building competitiveness through "high‑level, full‑industrial‑chain integrated development." The company has since evolved into a modern metal mining enterprise characterized by five features: a resource‑centric focus, business line diversification, structural diversity, a global footprint, and the scale of a major integrated group. China Mineral Resources Group is a strategic partner deeply trusted by China Minmetals, with strong synergies and close collaboration in fields including mineral resources trade and supply chain services. Both sides hope to build on this meeting as a fresh start—by establishing and improving a regular communication mechanism, cementing the basis for cooperation, actively pursuing synergies, jointly addressing common challenges, and advancing side by side—thereby contributing more to ensuring metal mineral resource supply and price stability.

Yao Lin expressed gratitude for China Minmetals' long-term trust and support and praised the company's extensive expertise and strong industry presence in areas such as metal mining, trade, and logistics. He stated that China Mineral Resources Group, as a full‑service mineral resources company, has been constantly innovating and exploring ways to help maintain a healthy supply chain for mineral resources. It has also forged extensive and deep strategic partnerships with leading companies across both upstream and downstream sectors. China Mineral regards China Minmetals as a deeply trusted and respected partner. Both sides aim to further solidify their cooperation base, improve collaboration quality and efficiency, and open up new avenues for partnership. They shall put in place a tighter coordination mechanism, exchange cooperation requirements and market intelligence on a regular basis, and jointly advance the safe, stable, and high‑quality development of industrial and supply chains.

Relevant personnel from China Mineral Resources Group, along with heads of relevant headquarters departments and directly managed enterprises of China Minmetals, attended the talks.
