On January 31, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director and General Manager of China Minmetals, visited two of the Group's subsidiaries in Changsha—the Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and MCC Changtian Engineering—to conduct inspections and extend his regards to their frontline staff. Wang Xingquan, members of the Party Leadership Group and Vice General Managers of China Minmetals, accompanied the visit.

Zhu Kebing conducted on-site research at CRIMM's hundred-ton-level new material pilot platform and equipment processing base and carried out production safety inspections. He presided over a symposium for officials and employees at MCC Changtian, listened to reports from the two enterprises, and put forward work requirements. He pointed out that it is necessary to deeply study and implement the important instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of central SOEs, fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and all plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and earnestly implement the requirements of China Minmetals' annual work meeting. Efforts should be focused on the key tasks of building a modern industrial system and the strategic positioning of the "National Team for Resource Guarantee and Main Force for 'Two-New' Services," accelerating the concentration on core business, alignment of industries, and consolidation of resources, further highlighting main responsibilities and core businesses, finding their own positioning and breakthroughs, and continuously enhancing core functions and improving core competitiveness. It is necessary to persist in the leadership of technological innovation and follow a path of deep integration and development between technological innovation and industrial innovation. CRIMM must accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies in the fields of new energy and new materials, steadily promote the building of pilot platforms, and ensure high-standard and high-quality completion of established goals to achieve smooth production. MCC Changtian must closely follow the "One Core, Two Chains, One Support" industrial blueprint, focus on the large number of application scenarios within China Minmetals to promote technological products according to local conditions, and strengthen research breakthroughs in comprehensive utilization and improving the "three rates" to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. It is necessary to combine industrial and sectoral technological trends to further leverage advantages and forge strengths. CRIMM must continue to improve the R&D and manufacturing level of intelligent equipment, remain firm in the direction of productization, benchmark against world-class standards, be market-oriented, and rely on core technologies to guarantee the security of industrial and supply chains and serve the high-quality development of manufacturing. MCC Changtian must base its actions on its traditional advantages in the field of ferrous metals, carry out core technological breakthroughs and achievement transformations, empower industrial upgrading, strengthen industrial chains, and continuously increase the intensity of technological integration between ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is necessary to hold the red line of development, strengthen bottom-line thinking, unswervingly improve operational quality and efficiency, create demonstration projects for clean projects, and foster a clean and upright political ecosystem.
