On the eve of the Spring Festival, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director, and General Manager of China Minmetals, visited and extended greetings to retired leaders Zhou Keren and He Wenbo, and veteran Party member Yu Houhua on January 28. He thanked them for their long-standing contributions to the reform and development of China Minmetals and sent them New Year blessings.

Zhu Kebing cordially inquired about the current health and living conditions of Zhou Keren, He Wenbo, and Yu Houhua, and introduced the achievements made by China Minmetals in 2025 and the work arrangements for the coming period. Zhu Kebing stated that in 2025, China Minmetals strengthened its operational management and control system, and the economic performance trended upwards and improved. By adhering to the concentration on core business, alignment of industries, and consolidation of resources, the building of the industrial system has accelerated and improved in quality. Through the coordination of the "Five Focuses" actions, technological innovation has provided leadership and empowerment. Efforts were made to solve deep-seated problems, pushing SOE reform into depth. The building of the "four mechanisms" was improved, and risk prevention and control were comprehensively strengthened. By adhering to sustainable development, the safe and stable environment has been continuously consolidated. By deeply promoting mutual integration and mutual promotion, Party building has become strong and powerful. These achievements are due to the solid foundation laid by retired leaders and Party members, condensing everyone's wisdom and care, and are the result of the persistent and collective efforts of generations of Minmetals people. In 2026, China Minmetals will focus on steady growth through quality and efficiency, strengthen industries based on positioning, focus on innovation through output, target shortcomings to promote reform, prevent risks by treating both symptoms and root causes, hold the bottom line for safety, and highlight leadership to strengthen Party building. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, it will remain firm in its original mission of "serving and strengthening the country through mining" and its strategic positioning as the "National Team for Resource Guarantee and Main Force for 'Two-New' Services"; persist in the development vision of "becoming a world-class metal and mineral enterprise group with global competitiveness"; and stand firm on the real economy, building "One Core, Two Chains, One Support" to construct a modern industrial system.

Zhu Kebing expressed hope that the retired leaders and Party members would, as always, care for and support China Minmetals, actively providing suggestions and advice for the company's development. The work for retired officials at China Minmetals must take the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's relevant important instructions and comments as the fundamental guideline, unifying thoughts and raising awareness to care for and serve retired officials well, so as to reassure the Party Leadership Group and satisfy the retired officials.

Zhou Keren, He Wenbo, and Yu Houhua expressed gratitude for the greetings from the Party Leadership Group of China Minmetals and voiced their appreciation for the achievements in corporate development. They expressed hope that China Minmetals would remain a firm executor, man of action, and man of practical efforts in implementing the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, striving to write a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization for Minmetals. They will continue to follow the reform and development of China Minmetals as always, wishing China Minmetals new and greater achievements in the new year and during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
