On January 21, Zhu Kebing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director, and General Manager of China Minmetals, held a working meeting in Ningde, Fujian, with Robin Zeng (Zeng Yuqun), Chairman and CEO of CATL. Both sides exchanged views on deepening strategic cooperation. Wang Xingquan, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice General Manager of China Minmetals; Wu Yingming, Director and Chairman of the Ecological Development Committee of CATL; and Feng Chunyan, Vice President of CATL, attended the meeting.

Zhu Kebing expressed his gratitude to CATL for its long-standing support to China Minmetals and briefly reviewed the history of both sides deeply cultivating their respective fields and gradually deepening their cooperation. He stated that China Minmetals has always adhered to the mission of "serving the country through mining and strengthening the nation through mining," continuously enhanced its core function of "guaranteeing the supply and security of national metal and mineral resources," and persistently improved its core competitiveness in "integrated high-level development across the entire metal mining industry chain." He noted that the company is anchored to the functional positioning of being the "National Team for Resource Guarantee and Main Force for 'Two-New' Services," and has formed a layout of six major business sectors: metal mining, metallurgical construction, technology industry, trade and logistics, financial capital, and real estate development. China Minmetals and CATL share high strategic compatibility and strong industrial complementarity, possessing a solid foundation and broad space for cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides would leverage their respective advantages, jointly create a systematic cooperation model, and form a development synergy in areas such as resource development, industrial coordination, and green development, so as to jointly write a new chapter of mutually beneficial and win-win development. Robin Zeng welcomed the delegation and introduced CATL's current development status and advantages. He stated that CATL always prioritizes core technological innovation as its driver and continues to optimize its industrial ecosystem layout. Currently, the landscape of supply chains and industrial chains is undergoing profound changes. He expressed hope that both sides will fully leverage their respective strengths, strengthen strategic synergy, jointly seize the opportunities during the rapid development phase of the new energy industry, and explore more directions for cooperation, so as to boost the high-quality development of both enterprises.

Prior to the meeting, both parties visited the CATL corporate exhibition hall.
