On December 12, the Party Group of China Minmetals held a meeting to earnestly convey and study the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and those of the Central Economic Work Conference, integrate them with the enterprise's actual development, and map out implementation measures. Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, presided over the meeting. Zhu Kebing, Deputy Party Group Secretary, Director and President of China Minmetals, and other members of the Party Group attended the meeting.

The meeting noted that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech comprehensively summarized China's economic work in 2025, conducted an in-depth analysis of the current internal and external situations facing the country, and clarified the overall requirements, policy orientations and key tasks for work in 2026, which carried immense political, ideological, and guiding significance. It is necessary to thoroughly study and grasp the essence of the "Five Musts", strictly implement the "Two Better Coordinations", carefully plan and deploy key tasks for the current and future periods in accordance with eight key priorities on the economic agenda for next year, and enhance the strategic initiative to respond to challenges and seize opportunities, so as to ensure the successful conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) and a solid start for the 15th Five-Year Plan period(2026-2030). It is essential to gain a deeper understanding of the decisive significance of the "Two Establishments", consciously act on the "Two Upholds", and more consciously use the scientific assessment of the CPC Central Committee on the situation to achieve unity in thinking, will and action. It is imperative to integrate the guiding principles of the Central Economic Work Conference with the those of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee for comprehensive understanding and full implementation, and more proactively plan and promote our work while serving the overall development of the Party and the country.

The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to unswervingly hold the aspiration of contributing to human progress through developing the mining industry, enhance the core function of "guaranteeing the supply and security of national metal mineral resources", improve the core competitiveness of "high-level integrated development of the entire metal mining industry chain", expand the second growth curve and open up new growth horizons on a broader scale, and demonstrate China Minmetals' commitment in implementing of "stabilizing employment, enterprises, markets and expectations". Guided by the "Plan for Further Deepening the Reform of State-Owned Assets and Enterprises", it is necessary to implement reform measures in line with the modern industrial system, stimulate the vitality for high-quality development, and demonstrate China Minmetals' actions in the continuous deepening of reform. It is required to seize policy opportunities, accelerate the in-depth integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, facilitate the optimization, adjustment, transformation and upgrading of business layout, prevent and resolve risks in key areas, improve the quality and efficiency of international operations, firmly uphold the bottom line and red lines of ecological environmental protection and work safety, and highlight China Minmetals' role in serving as the "national team”for resource security and main force for advancing new industrialization and urbanization.

The meeting required that it is necessary to adhere to the work style of "working hard and delivering tangible results”, implement various tasks in a down-to-earth manner and strive to achieve the goals and tasks of reform and development next year in a bid to ensure a good start for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) period.
