On October 28, Chen Dexin, Chairman of China Minmetals, met with a visiting delegation led by Andrzej Siódmiak, Chairman of KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGHM), and the two sides had an in-depth exchange on further strengthening cooperation. Xu Jiqing, Vice President of China Minmetals, also attended the meeting.

Chen Dexin extended a warm welcome to Andrzej Siódmiak and his delegation, and reviewed the development history of China Minmetals as well as the cooperation between the two companies. He said that China Minmetals and KGHM enjoy a long-standing partnership. With its extensive sales channels and customer resources, China Minmetals has facilitated KGHM's expansion into domestic and international markets. In return, the high-quality metal raw materials from KGHM have also provided strong support for the high-quality development of China Minmetals. Fruitful results have been achieved across various collaborative areas, including cathode copper trade, copper commodity trade, cultural exchanges and social responsibility initiatives, and market information exchange. It is hoped that on the existing basis, both sides will further enhance cooperation in mine construction, product distribution, project construction and other aspects to achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development at a higher level and with higher quality.

Andrzej Siódmiak expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception from Chen Dexin, concurred with the proposal to deepen cooperation, and briefly introduced the development history of KGHM as well as its domestic and overseas business. He emphasized that KGHM attaches great importance to its cooperation with China Minmetals, and the two sides have established a long-term and stable cooperative relationship, with positive results achieved in various cooperation areas. It is hoped that the two sides will jointly explore more cooperation paths, further strengthen communication and alignment as well as strategic coordination, integrate resources and complement each other's advantages, seek new opportunities amidst industry transformation, and elevate the pragmatic cooperation to a new level.

Relevant personnel from KGHM, as well as heads of relevant headquarters departments and directly-managed subsidiaries of China Minmetals attended the meeting.
