On November 30th, Weng Zuliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited the tin mine company owned by China Minmetals located in Lengshuijiang City, Hunan province. During the visit, he conducted inspection and provided guidance on the theoretical study program and resource continuation, and carried out work safety inspections.

Weng successively inspected the geological mineral exploration project at the deep fringe of the tin mine, the South Mine II vertical shaft, the South Mine dispatch command center, the Zuxin Model Worker Innovation Studio, the Feishuiyan old mining site, the resource exploration site at the deep fringe of the tin mine, the roughing and refining workshops of the antimony smelting plant, and the tin mine exhibition hall. Besides, he conducted on-site inspections of the work safety in the South Mine and the antimony smelting plant, attentively listened to the reports on progress of the theoretical study program for workers in the tin mine, the enterprise's production and operation as well as the progress of resource continuation. After that, he put forward specific requirements regarding the enhancement of the enterprise's core competitiveness and the promotion of high-quality development. Weng also emphasized the need to cooperate with the central inspection team during their disciplinary inspections, effectively conclude the annual production and operation tasks, and plan for the next year. He finally called for the implementation of special actions to prevent and resolve safety and environmental protection risks at the year end.
