On July 12, President Zhou Zhongshu, Senior Vice President Zhang Yuanrong of China Minmetals Corporation met with Mr. Henri de Castries, Chairman and CEO of AXA Group, and his entourage to exchange in-depth views on the future development of AXA-Minmetals Assurance Limited.
President Zhou extended warm congratulations on the fact that AXA Group ranked 9th on the 2010 Fortune Global 500, and No. 1 in the insurance sector, and also expressed heartfelt gratitude to AXA Group for its substantial support to AXA-Minmetals Assurance Limited in the past decade. He hoped that both sides would make full use of their resources to achieve accelerated development of the joint venture.
Chairman Henri de Castries said that AXA and Minmetals had established long-term friendly relation in the past decade, and AXA Group would continue to support the development of the joint venture to build it into a leading life insurance company in Chinese market in the nearest future.
